NBA : Results of the first week

Wizards v/s Bulls 02/28/11

The first week of NBA has revealed its verdict.  And overall, we note only a few surprises.

The event of the week belongs to Chicago with the highly anticipated return of Derrick Rose. The point guard of the Bulls who returns from a white season after his serious injury to the anterior cruciate ligament.

The performance of the week is the victory of Philadelphia Sixers against the Miami Heat. Beyond the victory, Michael Carter-Williams achieved a partition of high ranking. The rookie has not passed far with a quadruple double (4 stats above 10): 22 points, 12 assists, 7 rebounds and 9 interceptions. It’s a great performance for the first game of his young career!

For the ranking, in the East, Indiana is in the lead with 5 wins in the same number of games. The New York Knicks and the Chicago Bulls are lagging behind with only one win in five games.

In the West, there are few surprises the San Antonio Spurs and the Golden States Warriors have already squatting first places.

Michael Carter-Williams (Point Guard of Philadelphia Sixers) and Kevin Love (Power Forward of Minnesota Timberwolves) were named Players of the Week.
