Miss Dior exhibition

couturier_parfumeur_3   The Grand Palais, in Paris, welcomes the free exhibition of Miss Dior until the 25th November.

Miss Dior, the first fragrance created by Christian Dior on 12 February 1947, is a symbol as a myth. Christian Dior dedicated it to his sister who he called “Miss Dior”. The French luxury house invited for the occasion fifteen female artists from all around the world. The Miss Dior exhibition showcases the timeless, modern character of this fragrance. The exhibition traces a dialogue between Art and Dior. The artists have been invited to freely interpret the signature codes of Miss Dior. They pay tribute not only to one of the greatest couturiers of all time, but also to “the subversive spirit of a perfume that has earned its place in history.”
