The Spanish team Real Madrid won the King’s cup against Cornella (4-1) on Wednesday. They won thanks to a brace from French defender Raphael Varrane and Chicharito goal and the Brazilian Marcelo. Real Madrid could not do better to start their way to regaining their title of Spanish Cup. Merengue has largely defeated the Power8 Cornella Stadium, practically acquiring their ticket to the knockout stages and recorded their tenth straight win. The attack was very fast, the team only took ten minutes to score their first goal. James took the corner and Varane jumped higher than everyone to mark the head 0-1. “It was important to get a good win in this first leg,” Hernandez said in an interview with Spanish television broadcaster Canal Plus. The return legs will take place at the beginning of December, when the Cornella players will fulfill their dream of playing in one of the world’s great soccer venues, Real’s Bernabeu stadium. The Real Madrid will travel to Granada this weekend on behalf of the 10th day of La Liga. After their victory in the Clasico, the Real Madrid, third in the standings, one point behind Barca, goes to the 14th La Liga, Granada, with 9 points. The match should be easy for Ronaldo and his teammates, but watch out for surprises anyway!
