On Monday, Novembre 2rd, 142 women signed a petition against sexism which they sent to Claude Bartolone, the president of National Assembly. Only 15 men signed the petition.

From the beginning of the year, the acts of sexism have multiplied at the National Assembly : whistling, derisive laughters, etc. Today the atmosphere is tense.

The conservatives – like Henri Guaino – refuse to see the transformation of the French language and, see women with big political responsabilities.

Caroline De Haas, a feminist says “A woman with responsabilities, it make angry l’UMP. We are in 2014, it’s ironic..”

It’s the reflection of a society which demonizes women.

This debate shows a political discussion in decline.
