The hashtag TakedownJulienBlanc sprang from Twitter two days ago.
With an extraordinary rapidity, Jennifer Li, young Chinese feminist managed in getting Julien Blanc’s sexist website taken down and canceling the seminars which the controversial pick-up artist was supposed to give soon in the cities of Melbourne, Austin and Seattle. More than 20,000 people had signed an online petition against the seminars at change.org.
« In Tokyo, if you’re a white male, you can do what you want… ». These are the words of this young man from Switzerland, who had undertaken to teach other men how to « grab » girls, all around the world. His method : «harass them, intimidate them, tighten their neck, they adore».
On his promotional video, Blanc says his job is to “get guys laid” by teaching his formula to get girls to do anything the male wants : « I’m just romping through the streets, just grabbing girls’ heads, just like, head, (motion) on the dick. Head, on the dick, yelling, « pikachu », with a pikachu shirt ».
