Roger Federer trashed Andy Murray at the ATP Wolrd Tour Finals 6-0 6-1 in London. This is the biggest defeat for the Scottish since 2007. The 17-time Grand Slam champion needed just 56 minutes to win the match and reach to the semi-finals of the Masters.

He said he was « very happy to play a good match » and that he was « more relaxed », as he knew he had been qualified to the second round before the match.

In the press conference, Andy Murray confided « it was a a tough night » and his opponent « played exceptionally well ».

The viewers of the 02 Arena in London were incredibly disappointed with this result because Murray is there darling. The Brit is now eliminated from the masters after this world humiliation.

Before, Kei Nishikori beat David Ferrer 4-6 6-4 6-1. The Japanese, after a bad beginning, benefited of the physical fall of Ferrer. For the anecdote, the Spanish player shouldn’t play this match. Normally, the opponent of Nishikori was supposed to be Marian Cilic but as he was injured, David Ferrer substituted him in the morning.

In the last set, the world number 10 of the ATP Ranking seems like a player in lack of pace.

For his first participation in the London’s Master, Nishikori is qualified to the semi-final and will probably face Novak Djokovic.

Roger Federer will play against Stanislas Wawrinka or Tomas Berdych, the two players whom he has beaten many times.
