Docked because of Paris attacks last year, the exhibition “Paris Photo” opens this Thursday for its 20th anniversary.
“Paris Photo” is considered as the largest photography event around the world. Created in 1995, the exhibition will celebrate its 20th anniversary in this new edition, which opens to the general public tomorrow at the “Grand Palais”, in Paris. Last year, the edition was bereaved and broken by the Paris attacks.
This time, the exhibition wants to regain its greatness and attract many collectors and museum directors. Galleries from around the world are clearly present: Paris Photo welcomes 153 galleries and publishers covering 34 nationalities and representing 1,252 artists. Still images fans are going to rush to the “Grand Palais” because the exhibition lasts only three days and ends on Sunday.
