One year of Trump, what has been done?

Today 9 Nov 2017 America celebrates the anniversary of the election of Donald J. Trump. In this occasion, we can wonder what has been done so far by the new president, how many promises have been accomplished and how. The secret of Donald Trump’s success has surely been is pop approach, marked by the slogan I will be the president of all Americans – but has he respected all of his promises?

The promise of a radical infrastructure plan that would have fostered America’s inner economy has not been implemented yet: only some minor tax cuts are likely to be approved by the Congres by the end of this year.

Trump has also been clear about his immigration policy, willing to send irregular migrants back home and making the rules for getting the green card much harsher to obtain than they were before, especially for Muslims.

As for his international policy, even the experts admit the difficulties of recovering some consistency in what Trumps does, his relations with Russia being quite tense today and given the absence of any diplomacy  in his public speeches.

It might be advanced that Trump’s only consistency can be recovered in his attempts to please his voters.

One year and only Neil Gorsuch that is it. Complete legislative failure and he is done after the coming tax cut debacle. Check out my review on SudburySanders.
