The teen idol David Cassidy died on Tuesday, at the age of 67. The singer and star of the television series “The Partridge Family” passed out in Florida due to a hepatic insufficiency.

David Cassidy had known a big success in the United States by embodying the character of Keith Partridge in the musical television series broadcast during the 70s. The series was about a widow and her children who decide to form a rock ‘n’ roll band. Cassidy then dashed into a solo career with a lightning success: more than 12 albums and 30 million sales. Hollywood pays tribute to an actor and a “talented and nice” singer.

In 2011 he took part in the casting of “The celebrity apprentice”, a program inspired by  Donald Trump’s “the apprentice” , where the actor as the first one to be fired by the future president of the United States.

He was in an artificial coma since the critical deterioration of his liver and his kidneys. He was hospitalized in Fort Lauderdale, with his family at his bedside. He leaves behind him two children and an inheritance in the pop-culture for all those born before the 80s.
