The French Triathlete Laurent Vidal, 5th at the Olympic Games of London in 2012, died last night after a heart attack. He was 31 years old.

 

5th of the last Olympic Games in London, the French athlete has already suffered a heart attack in April 2014. His career was on standby after this event.

“I Love triathlon, it is a passion, but it means nothing compared to life. I am as well prepared to be told to stop my career as to be told that I am healed. I am ready for everything,” confessed Laurent Vidal in 2014.

 

The sport world is affected by this news and some athletes have expressed messages of support.
